We have an older fiber optic network in our facility with quite a few broken fibers. We are planning on pulling new fibers in a few of the process areas in our plant. At approximately the same time (slightly later), we are planning on upgrading to DeltaV version 14.3.1 and installing DeltaV Smart Switches. I need to know what type (OMx) of fiber to specify. I see from the DeltaV Smart Switch datasheet that the switches can accept cable types of multimode 50/125 um or multimode 62.5/125 um. I don't expect any of the runs to be over 500 meters, more likely only 300 meters. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
