I have a question about the EIOC cards vs VIM when it comes to integration with MCC/Drives/Switchgear. VIM probably will be better choice due tomorrow that tight integration with the current controller rather than EIOCs. ( Andre helped me a lot with this, in another discussion thread)If we use EIOC, what are major Pros n Cons?
With EtherNet/IP, the DST model remains the same Modbus TCP/IP? ( I assume it’s not like Device Net)?I have about 200 devices/drives in the electrical system on Ethernet /IP and about 50 relays on 61850.And if i use VIM, the licensing for EtherNet/IP and 61850 will differ?
