DeltaV version upgrade from 11.3.1 to 12.3.1 or 13.3?

Dear Experts,

We are planning to upgrade our DeltaV DCS system version from 11.3.1 to 12.3.1 or 13.3 depending on which version will benefit for us more.

Question 1: What are the benefit if we upgrade from 11.3.1 to 12.3.1?

Question 2: What are the benefit if we upgrade from 11.3.1 to 13.3?

Question 3: What are the down side of above options?

    We had a similar decision and I made the choice to go with 13.3 from 11.3.1. It came down to OS re-installation (32 to 64 bit), if we went 12.3.1 it was possible to keep the existing 32bit OS but any future version of DV will be 64bit only, therefore, we decided to perform the OS reinstall and at the same time upgrade to 13.3. Our choice was to get the big job of OS reinstall completed and leave any future upgrades to minimal version changes.

    I believe 12.3.1 also supports 64bit if you are not comfortable with operating on newly released (not field proven) DeltaV 13.3 version.

    So far 13.3 is working good for the last 8 weeks. The good part is the graphics did not require modifications.
