Recommended Symantec antivrus version

Dear All,

We will purchase an antivirus software for our DeltaV 12.3 version. According to the compatibility chart provided by Emerson on the KBA ID :AP-0400-0004 which contains the supported antivirus versions for a DeltaV version and Operating System, it mention that we need Symantec 12.1.4100.4126 (RU4 MP1a). This version is no longer available and only 12.1.5 is available.

The question is related to the available version of symantec is compatible with DeltaV 12.3? there is someone who has installed on a live system before?

    I have a lot of experience with Symantec on DeltaV systems. It is required that you only install versions of Symantec that Emerson has approved.
    Doing otherwise puts the performance and stability of your system at risk.

    Symantec can provide any version by request. Once you purchase the licenses, open a support ticket with Symantec and request the latest version
    approved by Emerson. In our case, I requested 12.1.4 RU4a. In 24 hours I had a link to download that specific version.
