Engineering Station (P station)

Dear All

i have 2 Engineering work stations in my project. i have assigned the Professional Station license to these stations and also the communication is

ok and i can download these stations from P+. but when i want to open Deltav Explore the message " Access in Denied" is appeared. i have assigned the P license but i dont know what is the problem !!!

it will be highly appreciated to solve my problem with your kind advises.

    Hi Pouya,

    Do you have a workgroup or Domain enviroment?

    Check that you have the user rights to connect as admin/xx to  the PRO+ station...

    check that you have the DV users also  windows..

    run workstation configuration and try again..?

    edit: check that you have the same password for the DB at all stations

  • Is this workgroup or Domain network?
     
    What user are you logging into Windows/DeltaV as, the same user as on the P+?
     
    Try connecting to P+ using UNC path \\P+NAME\DVDATA (substitute the P+NAME for your P+ workstation name).  Does it connect?
