Hi, I have some faceplates that want to change in configure mode, the faceplate is coppied 3 times with post fix numbered,for example fp , fp_1, fp_2
Now when I change all of the faceplates, Just one of them changes and the others work like before.
what can be the problem?
You should only need to change one of them and then run the "update popup pictures" utility; this will then automatically create/update the other copies fp1, 2 and 3.
As for the cause of what you are experiencing, have you checked your SCU file, are the paths pointing to the right machine. Sometimes the SCU can point to another node on the network, loading faceplates from that node, rather than the node you modified faceplates on.

Hopefully you can see the icon I've highlighted. If the toolbar isn't shown, enable "DeltaV Utilities" toolbar to display the icon.
when I click the update popup pictures utillity, it want to update all of the faceplates I had before! but I want just one of them to do so, what should I do then?
You can manually save the faceplate with the appropriate names (fp_1, fp_2) in the appropriate directory (temp, I think?) and it will still work.

Hi Aaron, I did the job like you, but it does not affect the functionality. It works like before :(
but Update popup pictures utillity works fine, I did not underestand what was wrong with the first job
