HART Device Libraries

Hello All,

I am delving into using the HART capability of a new device (Micro Motion flowmeter with 4200 series transmitter).

I have created an AI block in a CM and can get values through HART, albeit with some question marks displayed, but when setting this up, I noticed I don't have the 4200 series HART library file in DeltaV.

And so:  how do I obtain the correct device library file for this transmitter and then how do I "install" it in DeltaV?

If you could point me in the right direction, I'll do as much as I can.  I've done some research with not much effect.

  Hi Ralph, Please to to this link (https://www.emerson.com/en-us/support/software-downloads-drivers) and download your device DD for your specific DeltaV rev, go to DeltaV Explorer>library (top left corner)>HART library>right click and install DD.  Once you browse to the dd, it will update the DeltaV library for your device and AMS Device Manager DD library as well.  Hope this helps.
