I would like to open a case with regards to a VersaMax PROFINET Scanner IC200PNS002. We have a setup of having a Rx3i PLC, having Profinet Scanners as its remote IOs (Please see attached Hardware configuration).
We are having trouble with one of the IC200PNS002 Profinet Scanner, the Profinet scanner is not communicating in its Versamax node. We can’t even detect the Scanner using Profinet DCP Scan Tool.
We checked the fiber connections and the network is good.
We checked the scanner and saw that the scanner LED indications are blinking green in unison.
As I checked the manual, it describes that the Scanner is in Firmware Update Mode.
Is there a way to bring back the scanner to Operation mode?
If we need to update the firmware, will it affect its connection to the other scanners?
