How to Recover a Deleted Graphic?

Is there a way to recover a #DeltaV14.3.1 graphic after a delete?

There was a configured graphic that was inadvertently deleted due to a multi-select in the #[Graphics Studio] editor.

I can still see the #[DeltaV Live] graphic online but I can't figure out a way to export, extract, or save that graphic back into GS.

  - Graphic BUFHLD_7710 still present in DeltaV Live

   - Graphic BUFHLD_7710  deleted in the Graphics Explorer pane in Graphics Studio

  • Hi

Copy this file and paste into graphics pic folder

I'm not very familiar with Operate, but that looks like a solution for Operate while we are working w/ Live graphics.

At the C:\DeltaV\DVData\YellowPages path there are no Live graphic files.

I am unsure how or where Live stores these published graphic files or if they are even accessible.

If you've deleted the file from the database, you have to recover it from a back up, either an Export of the file to the XML format or from a full Database export. If you do not have a backup, the display will have to be rebuilt. I don't believe there is no Undo Delete function.

DeltaV Live uses a SQL database to store and manage displays via Graphics Studio. Published displays are HTML5 that are run time format distributed to all the stations. Unlike Operate, where the runtime and offline configuration use the same display files, Graphic Studio works on the SQL database and Live uses the HTML5.

Thanks Andre. That's kind of what I had figured. I will check to see if there is a backup with some version of the graphic.
