Unable to unassign a license from nodes

I'm unable to unassign licenses from my database.

In DeltaV explorer they're still assigned but when I choose unassign a license from the node on Control Network, nothing appears,

Any solution?

Scenario: I need to change licenses after a developer key expired

    Its not allow to assign any license before delete or decommission the node that you want to unassigned it license

    All license type are not un-assignable
    Case 1: license you can unassign: from dv explorer go on the node in the tree below control network , right click un assign etc etc.

    Case 2 : this a license which can not be un assigned, make an fhx export of the node , delete the node (at this point license will be released and available in the license basket) import back the node from fhx. The node will be imported but without license assign to it.

    I think that you want unassign simulate ppn from p+. As said it s not possible. Why do you want to do this ? You can keep it on your DB ,

    Thank you. I was trying to unassign simulate license and assign a new (simulate license) one to the PPlus node.

    With the answer above, I created a new database and imported the .fhx file skipping the Pplus import and it worked.
