Auto Logout of user on ProPlus

13.3.1 and 12.3.1- What options do I have to auto logout a non administrative user(or any user for that matter) automatically after X amount of time from the ProPlus. We have a scenario where techs forget to logout. This ties up a license and prevents new users from logging in.  We are using version control. If the user has something checked out when they are kicked out what happens to the check out? I'd assume it just keeps it checked out but they lose changes since last save?

  The DeltaV Screen Saver is an option to automatically log users off based on idle time.

  I think it's important to distinguish windows logout and deltav application logout. The deltav screen saver application will logout a user from deltav, not from windows. This function is windows user profile based, so if you set it up for one windows user, it does not automatically work for other windows user profiles unless you make this a group/machine policy. Regarding in progress work, with version control, once an object is checked out, it stays checked out to a user regardless of whether they are logged in to windows or deltav. If they are logged out of deltav before they have saved any changes made, they can simply log back in to deltav to continue working, otherwise their work will be lost if the client (like control studio) is closed. An administrator can override checkout to either check in or undo checkout other users work.
