We have a communication between DeltaV Module VIM2 and POWERDRIVE-MD2 (LEROY-SOMER) Module MDX-ETHERNET/IP, my company has bought firmware IOD-4112 Driver for VIM2.
After inslling and configuring the dataset created as is showing by the document-supply POWERDRIVE, it's impossible to read the data in the deltaV, on the diagnosic the card is good but in the dataset we always get the diagnostic table of the VIM2 card even if we change the addresses or data type.
My question is: there are two types of firmware for Ethernet/IP communication, EtherNet/IP Scanner Driver IOD-4112 and ODVA EtherNet/IP Protocol Driver IOD-4116.
What is the difference between these two firmware ? and how to know what is the correct firmware to use?
DeltaV versions v11.3.1, VIM2 versions 5.0, VIMNet Explorer v9.5.1.3
