Alarm List - old descriptor

DV 12.3.1

Changed a CM descriptor (and downloaded the CM).  Now the faceplate descriptor is correct, but the old descriptor shows in the Alarm Summary List when that CM alarm posts.

Any suggestions of how to get the update to synch up with the Alarm List?

  Their are two types of descriptions one on channel description and another on control module description . both should be same

  Yes, thanks for your reply -

  I have re-checked that, and the descriptor for both CM and the IO point (TI and TE) have been updated.

  As you can see below, the alarm banner indicates the CM by tagname.  My theory is there's an alarm cache somewhere that was not automatically updated when the DB is edited (?)

  Did you download Changed Setup data to all nodes? I could see it coming from different nodes if the module table was not downloaded everywhere.

  I bet that's the answer! I imagine we missed downloading changed setup data to the controller node.
  Will do that and test, but I'm sure that's what happened.
