deltav secondary display image.

hello every one, i have question about secondary display and i hope for help :-

my question is how to change the image of secondary display to select the image i preferred .

  I'm not clear on what you are asking. Are you looking to know how to get the second monitor to display a specific image on start-up? Are you having an issue getting graphics to load on the secondary monitor?
  
  Would you be more specific about the issue and what version of DeltaV you have?

  my deltav version is 10.3 ,my secondary monitor have picture named as samplant loaded at startup and each time i reset the layout and i want to change it to picture already configured named as OG001.grf,when reading online book help for deltav i understand that there is some files located inside folder named as (local) opened with notepad nad change done from there especially file name as (deltavpicture.template) but this file does not found, so what i should do .

  You are looking to edit the Layout files for DeltaV Operate. These files are located at d:\DeltaV\DVData\Graphics-iFix\Local; and are named things like "DeltaV_OK_Picture.layout" and so on. If you sort the directory by file type, look for the .Layout files.
  
  Typically the names for the layout files will include a resolution, but I do not have a 10.3 system to look at to be sure. Sometimes there will be a layout file specific to your computer - if so, it will be named as "ComputerName_Picture.layout" If that exists, open it; otherwise, open one of the others. You open these files in Notepad.
  
  Read through the file as it contains instructions for modifying them. Please be aware that there are also a lot of helpful instructions at the bottom of the file. These instructions will talk you through modifying your secondary monitor to display the proper graphic that you want on start-up.
  
  Do not get discouraged if DeltaV Operate does not do what you want on your first try. Modifying these files is always tricky the first few times you try it. Be aware, if you make a mistake in the file then DeltaV will totally ignore it and you may get unexpected results. Don't worry, just try again.

  thanks mr dave if found the file named as deltav_ok_picture.layout and i read instruction there and after that i modify the secondary picture and picture resolution and the postion of alarm banner and now its ok thanks for your help.
