Profibus DP diagnostic

Hello everyone ;

on a project with deltav 11.3.1 we have Profibus communication with several slaves such as VFD ,soft starters and smart relay and the client request to a block diagram that shows the integrity of each slave 
and I encountered a problem the animation that I used for each slave based on the parameter " OINTEG " but the lot of both diagnostic equipment is not communicating and integrity is good.

I want to know what is a diagnostic parameter that is more reliable.

  Unfortunately Profibus device don't report OINTEG status back to any DCS like HART or Foundation Fieldbus. To get the the device status, you will need to map the Status byte of the device and get that informaiton to a external reference or use boolean fan out and trigger the bit(s) for alarming. Note: not all Profibus devices have a status byte. It depends on the manufacturer but I woud think VFD should have a status byte for fault detection. You may want to get the VFD manual out and find the status byte and map it to your status animation. I hope this helps.
