DeltaV workstation's network card bad status problem

Hi all 

does anyone have experience with DeltaV workstation's network card got bad status even though the actual network components are working well

such as Lan cable, network switch etc.. everything have checked. every time I've to restart the workstation to recovery from the bad state and then after some time probably like 10 minutes

it was getting bad again ,even I've reconfigured the workstation the problem still continue exists, I was really wondering how this problem cloud happen   

also, it does happen when we're copies or transfer data files like graphics files through the network between other workstation to this workstation 

we're during site commissioning state please advises if any of your guys have same experiences

  We recently had a problem with the primary network in our Dell PE2950 Proplus server. The result of which was to give spurious errors on the network of other nodes. All status indications on the switch port and NIC card were otherwise healthy and of course the cables were ok too. In the end the issue was resolved by re-seating the NIC in the server (not embedded obviously) Have you tried pinging the primary from elsewhere?

  What model of work station are you using? This sounds like the issued described in Emerson KBA NK-1600-0058 "Intermittent Network Disconnection on the Primary or Secondary DeltaV Network of Dell R7010, 3020 or T5810 Machines" There is a problem with Receive Side Scaling in the Broadcom driver. Read the KBA off guardian, but on those workstations disabling RSS fixes the issue.

  This was the issue we had as well. The fix in the KBA resolved the issue.

  I had a network error for the Operator station's secondary network in my plant.
  I have tried to check the network and pinged and etc.
  
  I was going to buy a new NIC but the issue was suddenly resolved by itself.
