Symentec Endpoint Protection Installation (v12.1) Procedure for DeltaV v12.3.1 on a Terminal Server

Hi Experts

The procedure in KBA AP-0800-0025 at 11C for terminal server recommends for centralized exception to exclude the pagefile, exclude the print spooler folder and if the server is a license server, exclude the the license server folder and the databases.

Does it mean to add these folders in the centralized exception along with DeltaV folders mentioned at point 14?

Can someone post specific locations of pagefile, print spool folder and the license server folder information that need to be added in centralized exception?

  The pagefile is typically on c:\pagefile.sys.  It is configured in the Windows System Properties-->Advanced-->Performance Options-->Virtual Memory dialog.

  The terminal server license server folder is typically default c:\windows\system32\LServer.  It can be observed by looking at TS Licensing Manager-->Review Configuration-->Database Location

  Print Spool is typically C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS.  It can be configued in Control panel-->Printers-->Print Server Properties-->Advanced-->Spool Folder
