Setting up DVOP on DeltaV v12.3.1

Good morning everyone,

I'm trying to setup DVOP for Provox on a Professional workstation and the following error pops up when I try to start DeltaV operate "m_PIOPCServer->AddGroup failed (0x80010105), this error will keep coming in until I log off the window or shutdown DeltaV operate which freezes during the time this error is coming in.

I tried to access the database update for the DVOP from the start menu and the program won't load and no error will show either, I can change the user logged in to another user with no issue there, I went back and looked at the installation guidance for DVOP and couldn't find anything related to this problem.

I've installed the DVOP on a operator workstation and had no issue with getting the DVOP and DeltaV started.

I was wondering if someone here have some ideas to share on what this error is about and how to fix it if possible?

    I see no one has responded yet and while I'm not a DVOP expert, I've used it much more than I care to admit.

    If you are not confident or unfamiliar with some of the steps listed generally below, I would suggest calling the GSC as they will be able to help you step through this in detail better than I can. Most of the time, stopping any DeltaV and DVOP services, re-running "regall /register", and a reboot will usually resolve the issues. If that doesn't solve it, sometimes DVOP needs to be re-installed.
