Why can't I access the DeltaV Operator Configuration Utility if I'm using the administrator account?

The subject says it all. I'm having issues on a DeltaV Simulate Multi-node system after importing a customer's database. I can't run iFix because it's looking for some files that are on the D drive but I don't have a D drive. The suggestion was made to go into the Operator Configuration Utility and see if the file paths were there and change them to the C drive but even though I'm using the administrator account it says "Unauthorized access to System Configuration" when I try to launch the SCU. I've tried shutting down the database and that didn't help so at this point I'm at a loss as to why I can't run the utility. Any suggestions?

  • Hi, Bruce. This sounds like your System Configuration File was corrupted. Can you try copying the ThisNode.scu file from C:\DeltaV\iFix\Local to C:\DeltaV\DVData\Graphics-iFix\Local? After copying, reboot your workstation and see if you can then open the Configuration Utility.
