Hi,
I am trying to establish Delta V OPC redundncy but due to some error it is not done.
I have done as per the Delta V Books on line , even 1 machine has become active and other as standby , but still redundancy is bad.
I have attached snap shot of the error that comes up while running configuration file.
Kindly share if any body has ever faced the issue or how can i be sucessful in configuring the OPC Redundant server.
(For info: i have two physical machines and i have selected redundant application station in explorer and loaded the license also)
Regards
Sumit D.
Are you able to see (mirror )pipes in active machine?
In reply to bobgally:
Yes.
In reply to sumit:
Manually Switchover the active to standby (shutdown the active) and check if standby goes to active and if you can see those pipes!!
It does not , since redundancy is not functional . so is the query.
While configuring the Active Node some error pops up,as attached in my earlier post.
I assume this is related to Newtork , so i need a solution for establishing the redundancy functionality.
Sumit
i experienced similar problem (not exactly the same) , i decided manually copy and paste all mdb files in active to standby this solved my problem!!!!
The issue is solved.
It was due to *.ini being deleted from EWS and auto-update disabled for OPCDA.
Also, latest 11.3.1 hotfixes were installed
