DeltaV Simulate V15 Virtual Machine Help

Having some trouble with a new DeltaV Simulate instance and hoping to get some guidance.

Started with ESXi 8 and created a new Windows Server 2016 VM

Mounted the DeltaV15 LTS iso, ran the independent DeltaV domain controller first, and then installed DeltaV V15.
No errors during the installation.
Powered off the vm and updated it to include the physical sentinel usb key. 
Rebooted and after logging into windows it just went to the desktop.  No DeltaV login, flex lock, or anything ele.

I have tried to launch explorer and Operate Run but i only get the spinning circle for about 5 seconds and then nothing.

  Posting back in case someone else has this issue.
  
  Discovered that having the domain controller and Pro Plus on the same machine is apparently an issue with Simulate standalone.
  Spun up a new server as a dedicated domain controller and another server as the pro plus. Added the Pro Plus to the domain and then installed DeltaV Simulate.

  The issue of Flexlock not starting automatically in DeltaV Simulate seems to be a common one since the DeltaV v14.
  The issue of Flexlock, DeltaV login, DeltaV Explorer...even after clicking would because you are not yet logged, for some of them, and for the others maybe because the DeltaV Services hasn't started (and you could need to go to Task Manager to force the start of the service), but this should popup a message saying it.

  Are you using Simulate Standalone or Multinode? I seem to remember that Simulate Standalone doesn't automatically start Flexlock?
