I have a problem with my DeltaV V14.3.1 VMware machine: certain Live displays that I export from another system fail to import. Certain FHX files (containing Internal Reference paths) fail to import.
It's all because of hot fix DeltaV_1432_WS_26_CSS that is on the other system, but not on my VMware machine. So, I would need to install that hot fix, right? Problem is that I'd need Guardian Support (to get a Conventional Software Support (CSS) License) for it to install. My Simulate license did cost ~400 US$ - but Guardian Support - only needed to install a hotfix!!! - would cost me close to 3000 US$ p.a.!
Doesn't seem right... One would expect that at least the WS hot fixes can be installed without Guardian Support: these may be required to keep the workstation software compatible.
