What should I know to install DeltaV simulation software in own laptop? Where can I find important information?

I recommend going over the “Release Notes” and the DVUpgrade.chm file located at the root of DVD2. If you can install it in a virtual machine I would recommend that as well. I use VM Workstation on my laptop to provide a decent DeltaV Simulate machine that I can keep separate from my office work.
