I had a customer question recently and wanted to post our response to the question online for others to view.
"How do I determine which GSD file contained in the attached file corresponds to the following Micromotion Coriolis transmitter?
Profibus PA protocol is required and the serial number is: 2700 I 1 2 G B A E Z Z Z
I cannot determine which file is the correct one."
Answer:To answer that question exactly, we need to know the software version of the transmitter. You just need to match the GSD to the software rev. So for example if you have a new Profibus PA transmitter with 3.20 revision in it then you get the GSD that is for 3.20. If you need further assistance, please contact us at flow.support@emerson.com.
