Over at PLCTalk.net (http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/forumdisplay.php?f=2) more than ninety people have volunteered their expertise to any manufacturers gearing up for production of medical equipment and supplies needed in the ongoing fight against COVID-19. Today, I read an article about the CEO of Emerson directing production and distribution to give priority to components going to projects related to the fight. The article specifically mentioned the Charlottesville facility which suggested to me that there are PLC components needed for some of those projects. If the projects need hardware from Charlottesville, they may also need people to write logic and help commission the new production lines.
