Can anyone advise on the optimal way to configure DeltaV H1 carrier fieldbus device with 8 DIs and 8 DOs connected (1 DI card and 1 DO card installed)?
We're trying to configure it using FFMDI and FFMDO modules with BFO and BFI respectively for packing/unpacking.
But its exceeding the requested macrocycle (Calculated macrocycle > requested macrocycle), because it appears the DI and DO data are transmitted separately.
There are several of such H1 carriers on the port. Can anyone advise how to bring the calculated macrocycle within range? Or what are the consequences of Calculated macrocycle exceeding requested macrocycle?
