DD file installation in DeltaV/AMS. Version 14.1

While trying to install a DD file,"I got this message : Add device type must be run manually on each station to ensure proper device installation "Please can someone help with the procedure to manually run "Add device type" or any way out.

    Hi,
    I would suggest you that check the existence of file name called "ddinstall.ini" file in DD file folder.
    Open the file in notepad & check the version mentioned in that of AMS Device Manager & DeltaV.
    If the DeltaV V14.1 & AMS Device Manager version 14.1.1 OR the version of AMS DM & DeltaV in which you want to install DD file is not mentioned , please add your respective version, save it. Now run "Add Device Type utility" & hopefully DD will be added in system successfully.
    Hope this suffice your requirement.
