We use VMs to run older OS versions. Hard to find drivers for new hardware that will run on older Windows versions.

For those who are still running v11 or v12 and need workstations or servers that will run Windows 7 / Server 2008, or are running DeltaV Virtual Studio v2.3.x, Emerson still has a limited supply of new Dell units with a full warranty.  Models and compatibility are listed below:

• SE2603C01 - R7910XL rack-mount workstation compatible with DeltaV v11.3.1, v12.3.1, v13.3.1, and will run both Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) and Windows 10
• SE2705V01 - R730 Host Server rack-mount compatible with DVS 2.3, 2.3.1, 3.3, 3.3.1, and will run Bare-Metal HyperV of Server 2012 (Not R2) for DVS 2.3.x, and Bare-Metal HyperV Server 2016 for DVS 3.3.x
• SE2703V01 - Virtualization Domain Controller / Host Management Server (based on R430) rack-mount compatible with DVS 2.3, 2.3.1, 3.3, 3.3.1, and will run Server 2012 or Server 2016 Std.
• SE2706V01 - Virtualization Host Blade Server (based on M630) compatible with DVS 2.3, 2.3.1, 3.3, 3.3.1, and will run Bare-Metal HyperV of Server 2012 (Not R2) for DVS 2.3.x, and Bare-Metal HyperV Server 2016 for DVS 3.3.x
