Control Studio

Can someone walk me through the process in creating a module in control studio?  

Just a basic Hello World, even would be enough to get me going.   

Really appreciate it.

  Hi Eric,
  
  I think the best place for you to start would be to open Books Online (Start/All Programs/DeltaV/Help or Help menu from DeltaV Explorer). On the 'Contents' tab, expand 'Getting Started' and go through it, but what you are asking about falls under the 'Creating and downloading the control strategy' section. It explains it much better than I could.

  Is there any reason why suddenly everything opens in "Read Only Mode" even online with objects, its always read only.

  There could be a couple of reasons why you are seeing that (although you will always see that when online or debugging). Who are you logged in as and does the user have configure and download privileges? You can see in the bottom right hand corner of DeltaV Explorer who is logged in and if they have configure and download privileges.
