“AMS Device Manager could not be licensed. Possible reasons include: can’t open license file, license file is invalid, or could not move license file to specified directory” when performing AMS licensing after origin machine is crash.

After performed several workaround without solve the problem, we able to conclude that the main issue is AMS
Client SC because the AMS 12.5 License wizard not working even we are using new AMS Server Plus.

  • Please try to reinstall the AMS Server and redo the license wizard. We encountered this problem several days ago.
