Copy of string

Hi Everybody!

I want to copy the string from DeltaV Operate to Deltav Explorer by Controle Studio.

My goal is to save the current user. I get the user in the DeltaV Operate with "DVSYS.THISUSER/USERNAME.A_CV", and I want to send the value to a string in the DeltaV Explorer.

  There is no ability to have DeltaV Operate update the configuration which is what I think you are asking for, it can only update parameters running in a controller/workstation. An upload could then be done after that but this is a manual process to select values for uploading and then update the configuration with selected upload values.
  
  Maybe if you could describe what the use case for what you are trying to get accomplished, the community could suggest other methods to get something close to your desired outcome.
