Operator Keyboard for DeltaV

Hi All,

I need your help, please advice, do you have any specific types/brand for operator keyboard that applicable with DeltaV control systems.

    The Modernization Team has experience with these third party configurable keyboards with DeltaV:

    You will have to program/configure these yourself to suit your specific application.

    I do not have an installed base list to share with you, unfortunately. These keyboards were used successfully in our demonstration in Emerson Austin and this is the basis of my sharing this information.

    These are Third Party COTS buyout products and there are no plans to offer them as Emerson products as far as I am aware.

    We have used the Cherry keyboards on at least 4 different DCS upgrade projects (RS3 to DeltaV) with good success. We used the 3rd party keyboards to emulate the RS3 button panel to facilitate the transition. The reality is that after a few months they are hardly except for the alarm silence/acknowledgement key. We will probably not use the cherry keyboard on the next project but elect to go with the native keyboard.
