I am looking for information to do the following with DeltaV Analyze 4.0:
Some details:
Item 1: Exclude alarm priorities
I have a customer that has installed Analyze 4.0 because they heard that alarm priorities can be excluded from being counted. What I have found out so far is that:
This is a problem because this customer has their OAR priority set to 13, warnings are 11 and critical is 15. They want a report that shows both the warning and critical alarm counts, but not the OARs. It would also be helpful if the charts/graphs would do this as well. This seems like a reasonable request, but I cannot figure out how to get Analyze to do that.
Item 2: Custom alarm rate settings per area
In their alarm philosophy, they specify alarm rates on a per-operator basis. In some areas they have 1 operator and in others they have 2. In the produced reports or on the charts/graphs in Analyze, they would like to see this difference on a per-area basis.
Item 3: Customize the Alarm Statistics report
I figured that if I could not do the above items in a straight-forward manner, then perhaps I could create my own report and do it that way. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not.

I will say that it is surprising that one of your customers has the OAR priority set to 13. I personally do not consider an OAR as an alarm, so prefer to see the priority much lower.
I would like to see better customization options as well as reporting without the need to install excel on the machine.
BTW, I see an option to download DeltaV Analyze 4.1 from the Guardian portal. Is anyone aware of what changed in the 4.1 release?

Are there no advanced DeltaV Analyze users out there? Is there other advanced documentation for Analyze than what ships with it? The documentation that ships with it is pretty lacking.
