Multiple Screen Configuration

Hello,

I just recently got a job at Solvay and am learning Delta V to operate our facility. We operate some of the equipment from a 2-screen HMI, but one of the screens died. in order to keep running we need to be able to operate off of the one screen. The DV Operate interface was configured by my predecessor to display on two screens, and now I cannot figure out how to display all the operate windows and prompts on just the one screen.

Can anyone help me out?

  With only one screen, you can only display one graphic at a time. The station may be configured with a layout file or the USER_SETTINGS file for two displays. These define the toolbar and alarm banner displayed on each monitor as well as the screen area on the monitor for each type of picture. First figure out if you have a layout file defined as this one takes precedence over the User Settings file. These files should start with the name of the workstation, such WS1_SETTINGS.GRF or WS1_Picture.Layout. This will allow you to redefine the layout for a single monitor, especially the default Toolbar and Alarm banner pictures.
