Hello,

How do you set the track enable option to True in a PID block. Im trying to initiate the TRK_IN_D to True, so that the TRK_VAL goes to the output.

    Modify PID/CONTROL_OPTS and enable the box by 'Track Enable'. And you may want to confirm the 'Track in Manual' option as well.

    It is accessible from control studio by clicking on the PID block and then double clicking control_opt in the parameter window. This parameter must be changed off-line and downloaded (when a download will not disrupt the process).

    Garlanov,
    You "enable" the Tracking feature via the PID/CONTROL_OPT as Chris says. This can be done on a download or by setting the MODE to Out of Service (a brief time in OOS does not usually disrupt the process) . This only needs to be done once. Then you set PID/TRACK_IN_D to True to set tracking of PID/TRACK_VAL to the PID/OUT and False to not track. Books on line has an example of this application.
