I'm trying integrate Allen-Bradley 1794-APB Series B FlexIO with DeltaV. I have established the Profibus network and am getting solid green Status and Profibus lights on the APB module and good status in DeltaV diagnostics. I have two IB16 DI modules hooked up and there LEDs indicating that there are channels that are active, but in Diagnostics I'm still getting all zero values even for signals that should be 1. I've tried outputting to a DO channel on an OB16 module and can't get the LEDs to light up either. My understanding is that these modules should pretty much be ready to go and don't need to have any configuration bits set up. I think although the Profibus network is good, I'm still not communicating with the FlexIO modules. Has anyone got this working in DeltaV or can think of a step I'm missing in getting these values across? Any insight is greatly appreciated.
