Control Studio Template for Wireless Gateway devices

Hi, does anyone have / know if there is a template / PCSD template for the emerson wireless gateway devices? We are commissioning a gateway soon with x number of transmitters and dont want to design a new module for the devices if one already exists.

  Hi Stuart, Can you please tell me what type of template you are interested in? Is it a control module template? I think that the control modules are the same ones you would normally use. For example if the signal is analogue, we would use the appropriate PCSD AI module.

  Maybe this solution may work for you if there aren't any other quick option. I have done this for 99 devices and it was much quicker than creating new module every time.
  Since these are wireless Hart devices, you may think of creating a module and map to all the HART parameters(hart pv, sv, tv, sv, slot0, slot1,slot2, and/or slot3)you want to monitor. Create one module for one type of device and another for another. You then can copy that module and paste in the area and then rename module, open module and remap each of the function block to another device. This should be easier since it remember the location of the device. Repeat this process until you have completed for all your devices.
