We need to connect to corporate PI server which resides outside DeltaV control network. Has anyone used PI DeltaV Smart Connector in order to connect external PI server and DeltaV Continuous Historian subsystem installed on Application station?
I have two specific questions.
1. Can you send / receive data through corporate firewall?
2. Do we need to install PI Historian instead of DeltaV Continuous Historian?
