I'm starting a new thread as the other one went on a tangent.I see that User manager in a domain shows domain accounts. Even if Computer/Domain: is not specified. So, When it shows Administrator and Emerson in user manager.. is this supposed to be the same as the administrator and Emerson on the local machine? If user manager is only for domain accounts, then why am i even seeing it. And it says in user manager that it's an operating system account. But when I make changes to the account type like adding as a DeltaV Administrator, it doesn't change the groups the account is a member of in Computer Management.
I don't want any administrator or Emerson account on the domain. I want to maintaing these locally, so if i lose connection to the domain or for doing local computer work, i have an admin account to do so. But, it's highly confusing having them under Users when it seems they aren't actually tied together. I have so far unchecked DeltaV Database Account, and I think this will then make sure that the account isn't shown on DeltaV Logon.
I'm almost understanding the domain stuff... but not quite there.
I should note i'm on v15FP1 using independent domain controls. No virtualization.
