Dear All Fellow Community,
I have question regarding the subject. I've already follow the KBA from Emerson but still have trouble with it.
The problem is I cannot delete the zone that I don't want to use on Reverse Lookup Zone. Only for the 8.10.in-addr.arpa that I can delete. Are there any other way to delete it? dnscmd tried but not recognized. Please help me on this matter Thanks.

In reply to Raimi:
Nobody can change the resolution since they all are in DeltaV Desktop mode, how did it start I also didn't have any idea.
I've already check network diagnostics and all of them are working fine.
Last time one of the guys from emerson already come and only delete and create new Reverse Lookup Zone, I don't know how to delete other than 8.10.xxx.
For 8.10.xxx it will show Delete option.
For other 3 no option for delete, that is the problem I'm facing right now

Hi,
here is some info from the MS sites (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc940772.aspx)

Description
Enables and disables automatic reverse zones, an optimizing feature of the Domain Name System (DNS). When this feature is enabled, DNS automatically creates three reverse lookup zones.
Reverse lookup zones enable the DNS server to be authoritative, that is, to know the answer in advance and to respond immediately to the most common name queries, eliminating unnecessary recursive queries. In accordance with pertinent Requests for Comments (RFCs), by default, the DNS server is authoritative for three reverse lookup zones:
Value
Meaning
The automatic reverse zones feature is enabled. The DNS server automatically creates three reverse lookup zones.
1
The automatic reverse zones feature is disabled. The DNS server does not automatically create reverse lookup zones.
Change method
If Microsoft Product Support Services instructs you to change the value of this entry, use Dnscmd.exe, a tool included in the Windows 2000 Support Tools, and then restart the DNS server.
Activation method
Because the DNS server creates zones only when it starts, you must restart the DNS server to make changes to this entry effective, even if you use Dnscmd to make the change.
Note
DNS does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry, such as Dnscmd.exe.
Caution
Do not change the value of this entry unless instructed to by Microsoft Product Support Services. Using automatic reverse zones improves the performance of the DNS server. The default value is optimal for almost all DNS server configurations.
And they also say like this :
As Meinolf has pointed out, there is no reason for concern. As per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/198410,
"clients sometimes query for standard IP addresses such as 0.0.0.0, 127.0.0.1 (loopback), and 255.255.255.255 (broadcast).
By being authoritative for the zones corresponding to these queries, the DNS server avoids unnecessary recursions to the root servers on these queries."
Hope this helps..
