How to troubleshoot this errors?

I would like to ask few question since I'm still new user in this DeltaV.

For now at our site some of the " Control Module " have an unexpected errors. Already ask and seek for support from Emerson at my site but still can't find the solution.

The error are :

1. When try to open up " Control Studio " this error occur, we already try many thing even no other user online to run the control module.

2. This error came up after using terminal server for several minutes.

    This error occurs when you are trying to open same module in control studio which has already been opened.  You could have opened same module in another engineering station, “MALPCB”, in your case.

    Hi,

    We already verified and no other engineering station using any of it. Even we already try restart and shutdown our ProPlus and Engineering station.
  • What is the name given to your proplus and Engineering workstation ?

    MalPC8 - ProPlus and no engineering station anymore because of the license.

    it seems like my earlier message dissapeared?
    Check if you have any remote sessions open to the proplus -> DV program folder "remote clients", when you are using Terminal server you can open the control modules also through that depending on your license. (also see that the module is not open on any OP station behind the operate screen)
    Did something unusual happen when this problerm occured, lost of supply, windows didn´t close normally ? (corrupted the control module)
    If Youssef:s instrustions doesn´t work you could try to repair the database in Database administrator ..
    What version of DV are you using, have you installed all of the latest Hotfixes and updates, did you install the teminal server before DV ?

    Where is "what Youssef Suggested"?.  Here is a screen shot of how the thread has updated.  The response I made  that Raimi refers to is not available, possibly because I responded via email.     The response is in a screen shot below, then in text to ensure indexing. (just in case it somehow made it to the subscriber's distribution but not to the actual forum thread)

    Please open database administration on the Pro plus and observe if any  database connections exist from the cited workstation. If so,and you can confirm no open applications running on that workstation (control studio appears as cs.exe in task manager for instance), then disconnect the connection to the control database.  If cs.exe exists when enumerating tasks from the cited user(administrator) on the cited workstation, then close or kill the task if disconnecting from dbadmin doesn't remove the task.

    We are using DeltaV ver7.4.1

    What have we done.

    - Two control modules has error "Item module is currently being updated by administrator on "
    - Clean and Extended clean has been performed but does not fix the issue.
    - There are no Database Connections found in Database Administration.

    Again my answer disspeared :p
    Try to copy the control module and see if you can open that one..
    Replace the old one wit the copy if succsessfull in reading.. then download and remove from controller etc..
