Instead of disabling your network cards, can you simply map the VM network cards to loopbacks? This way the VM computer can ping itself by name but will have no access to your host NIC cards.
The pc where the database is located must have network connection to download the proplus system.
as you're doing with VM You need to enable your connection lan VM.
