To my experience the HIMA OPC Server will only allow one OPC client to connect to validate a mapped item you will have to stop the OPC mirror as this service will owns the OPC connection, stopping the service will free the single OPC client license.

After this operation you should be able to validate the mapped items.

I have two Pipes :

"DV1HX" : Data transmit from DeletaV OPC DA server to HIMA X-OPC server

"HX1DV" : Data transmit from HIMA X-OPC server to DeletaV OPC DA server

The commnunication in both direction works gut.

only I can not validate the mapped item in the Pipe "DV1HX"

Validation in Pipe "HX1DV" is no problem.

I also try to make only one Pipe "DV1HX" and validate. It works also not

With the OPCwatchit we have found the problem:

The HIMA input tags which are write by DeltaV can’t be read back.

We configure all these input tags also as output tags in HIMA PLC, so all these tags can be write and read back now.

The problem is solved. Now we can verify all mapped Items!!
