AUTO SENSE OF HART DEVICES FAILURE IN DELTAV SIS

Hello every body,

Auto sense of HART devices for a logic solver is not working and it is giving an error saying 1) check the polarity between the logic solver and the device but i am sure that there will not be any polarity issue between the device and logic solver 2) There is no DVC block assigned and downloaded to request an output greater than zero. I have checked another logic solver which has no DVC block sensing tha HART devices. Please advise a solution.

  Have you check to see if the Off Current in the LSDVC SIS function block is set to 4 mA for that channel? If the off current is set to 0 mA, the channel will not have any current to communicate to the HART device. HART devices required 4 mA to communicate back to DeltaV. Best Regards
