Deltavadmin password

Please I need help I can not download the configuration file to the APP computer the file created in the Professional Plus, I got an error telling me that the password Deltavadmin is no match, or a way to view or download the configuration file since the computer is in a domain.

  • If your local DeltaVAdmin passwords do not match on every domain/workgroup member, you will encounter problems on your system.  

    If you cannot determine who is responsible for maintaining the system account and password, you should put a management system in place.  In the short term, your only option is to use servpwd.exe to set the password for all node members.  See the following discussion:

    I am assuming that you are downloading a configuration from DeltaV Explorer here. If this is the case, then it needs to distribute this changes via YellowPages service. For the YellowPages to communicate with other stations it has to authenticate to that target node (APP in your case).

    By the way, on a domain environment, for nodes in the local ACN, the default configuration is for DeltaV processes to authenticate using domain account. Technically for nodes other than domain controllers, DeltaVAdmin local and domain account passwords can be different.
