DeltaV Ver.7

Hi, I have recently installed a Profibus DP Series 2 card on a system running DeltaV ver.7.3. But during hardware selection, I can only select Series 1. Any advice on this. Thanks

  I have a customer that was on 7.2 for years, then upgraded to 11.3

   

  In 7.2, explorer only had the choice for Series 1, even though they had Series 2 cards.

   

  On their 11.3 system, the card is still listed as Series 1.  In other words, I don't believe it makes a difference.

   

  Ensure the card is ultimately flashed with the latest firmware (supported for 7.3) before placing in service.

  have a look at KBA AP-0700-0106....basically Profibus DP Series 2 card will work fine on DV v7.*
