Commissioning Level indicators

I am having a problem with an LI which is separate from the LT. I am not sure what I need to set up in AMS for it to work and would a separate AI tag need to be added to the LT control module. The device commissions fine I just can't get the LI to display the correct values. Any help will be appreciated.

  On your LI make sure you set the parameter AI1$L_TYPE to Indirect, if it is just a field value coming inbetween 0-100% then the parameter AI1$XD_SCALE can be set to 0-100% or if it is a differential pressure transmitter then set it to the range of the instrument (LT)in mbar. then set AI1$OUT_SCALE to the range of the level your are looking for eg 0 -10 tones,then download. Hope this helps.

  Are these Rosemount devices that you are using for LI and LT?

  yes they are rosemount 752 for level indicator and a rosemount 5400 for level transmitter
