DeltaV Thin Client Hardware

 

Is anyone currently using Thin Client Hardware on a DeltaV platform.

The Dell FX170 / FX130 seem to suggest a Thin Client Solution - has anyone had any success with these on a DeltaV system (Server 2008 OS).

I'm attempting to stand on the shoulders of giants!!

  I know of at least one DeltaV user that is doing so. He’s used thin clients (and server virtualization) for almost a year now.

  My customers are using a variety of Thin client hardware on their deltav systems….WYSE, ACP, etc.  For the most part no issues, but support is not there for non-XP based clients.

   

  My understanding is that Dell appliances will be supported for v12 for both thin client and zero client use.
