How to handle large data in deltaV and achieve query function?

Need to store recipe and componnents.

there are totally 300 componnents and each componnent has12 properties(float, bool, string, etc..).

and 100 recipe and each recipe has up to 15 componnents, which from componnents database. 

The requirement is easy to query, modify and store. 

Is it any good way to do it in DeltaV? or connection between DeltaV and MS Access. Thank you.

  I am curious what others would suggest here as well.
  
  Ideas (in no particular order):
  Soft phase reading from DB and writing via OPC Client library.
  VBA script in Operate (I've done this with Excel files previously)
  Campaign Manager API
