DeltaV Live Pushpin

Hello,

 

I’m trying to enable a faceplate pushpin in DeltaV Live for my contextual display.

I’ve the layout configured to enable pushpin of contextual displays. However, the functionality is not presented during run mode in DeltaV Live.

The layout is also correctly assigned in workstation management for the assigned operator station.

  You need to go to each Contextual Display and configure the Contextual Display Type to what it is being used for, most likely yours are not configured.

  It's configured to highlight as a faceplate. But no luck with that.

  Our system went through an update and now we have installed FP3.

  And what has been noticed that the pinning might have been removed. Could you confirm this?

  I can open two faceplate without having to pin one of them.

  Ensure you have the latest workstation hotfix installed on the workstation(s) (it is currently at WS_01) and if you have this loaded I would suggest logging a Technical Support call with Global Service Center (GSC) if the display pinning isn't available/working and you have the option in the layout enabled and the Contextual display type set.
